“Hard Realities: A Homage to Edvard Munch”

My Scream rya was completed a while back now. It will be displayed in the Textile Center of Minnesota’s Member Show.  It was an interesting experiment, but I was much happier with my own image done in homage to Robert Motherwell than I am with the appropriated Skrik homage to Munch. Still, it’s large and sort of startling and I learned a lot from the weaving experience.

I will miss the opening on January 18th, but if you are in the Twin Cities, you should go!  The talent among members of the Textile Center is extraordinary.

  1. Great! I hope to get to the meeting (still on for the third Sunday?) on the 20th so we can see all the galleries? I admire your dedication to staying on task and getting the weaving work done while everything else gets done too. Veronna
