Monksbelt 2: Don’t Be Scared of Red

Some bright red prydvevgarn languished in my closet so I began to weave a red-and-white runner.  I assumed it would be relegated to holiday use.  Once I started weaving, however, I realized that the red was a great foil to other saturated blues and greens.  In this one I experimented with crosswise stripes of color within long thin pattern bands.
