Scream Printing Underway

October 19, 2015 Robbie LaFleur

My house became a Scream printing factory today, as I added images to 15 t-shirts, one sweater, 13 baby onesies, 3 wool scarves, 4 pillow-tops,

As part of my series of Edvard Munch’s Scream interpreted in textile techniques, I made a carved linoleum block for fabric printing.  It is featured

I’ve been marking my fire tapestry progress with headlines atop the warp. The NYT graphic showing the conflagration of covid covers the whole working area, marking a half a million Americans who have succumbed. #tapestryweaving #tapestryweaversofinstagram

In a post on my own blog today, I review the pieces I’ve woven using Vestfoldsmett. Robbielafleur.com #scandinavianweaving #vestfoldsmett #vestfoldtepper #vev #weaving
It doesn’t look like a whole lot of progress, but it is rolled on the beam a bit, about three more inches since the last post. #tapestryweaving #tapestryweaversofinstagram #weavingmn
Perhaps it is appropriate to be weaving a summer 🔥 during a winter polar vortex. Frigid all week. #tapestryweaving #tapestryweaversofinstagram #weavingmn #handweaving #weaversofinstagram
I think the tapestry in the fire ring might look blazing after all... #tapestryweaving #tapestry #tapestryweaversofinstagram #bonfire #weaving #weavingmn# #handweaving #weaversofinstagram
