Spreading the Warp Threads in a “Special Deluxe” Way

I made a new raddle to spreads the threads on the back of my loom while warping.  I felt clever about gluing a tape measure to the raddle, but the most meaningful addition was the “special deluxe” piece that my nephew Evan Wurden and I scavenged from an old car in the woods.  This was back in 2013: Evan is now 16 and drives himself.  The old car was a Plymouth.  Evan said, “Hmph.  A Plymouth.  Have you ever heard of that kind of car?”  Uh, yes, Evan, that WAS my first car.
