Now that my studio is in the Casket Arts Building, I have the opportunity to participate in the HUGE annual spring Art-A-Whirl event in northeast Minneapolis. However, since I worked at the Legislature this spring, I don’t have a large number of salable pieces. And look, my son just took another off the studio wall, to go home with him to Stowe, Vermont. The gold/orange/brown krokbragd will go nice in the A-frame house he is renting.
But you should check out the work of these talented weaving friends. Kelly Marshall is in the Northrup King Building. Ann Masemore and Kala Exworthy share a space in that building, too. Nedra Granquist will be in the downstairs public space in the Pillsbury A Mill building. Support you local weaver!
