Veronna Capone recently wove a runner from a VavMagasinet calendar. The beautiful, flat hem finish she used was her own idea. It almost makes the piece look like it has four selvedges. For the hem she stopped the boundweave, switched to tabby, and wove a half inch or so. She cut off the piece from the loom, and without doing any additional knotting she turned the hem and ran the warp ends up through the channels that naturally occur on the back as part of the krokbragd weave.
