It’s all about documentation

I wrote about starting my fire tapestry on January 7. I need to pick up the pace. Inspired by Helena Hernmarck’s superb documentation of her work, I’ve chosen to remember this remarkable news time with headlines pinned to the warp as I take in-process photos. Every day a newspaper headline, I thought–but sometimes I forget. It doesn’t have to be just the newspaper headline, I decided; it can be a cartoon, or magazine cover. Here I am today. The fire might actually look blazing! I love the eager sled dogs too.
