I wove this hanging several months ago, but just finished the back and applied a hanging device. I like Sami images, and wove the same reindeer in transparency technique too. I don’t think a Sami person ever wove a reindeer image in pink fabric strips, but with their love of bright colors in traditional textiles, I think they would like it.
(The piece is 19 by 25-1/2 inches.)
